Anthony Lam

Anthony was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where his love for cars ignited as early as he can remember. As a child, the sound of tools clinking and paint sprayers hissing became the background music to his afternoons. In 1997, his parents opened Professional Auto Body & Paint in Portland’s Cully neighborhood, a small, hardworking shop built on integrity, skill, and trust.

Back then, Anthony was just a middle schooler, tagging along after school and during summers, watching his parents pour their heart into every repair. What began as innocent curiosity soon became a passion. By high school, Anthony was working part-time at the shop, learning not just how to fix cars, but how to treat people.

Determined to follow in his father’s footsteps, Anthony enrolled at Portland Community College, where he earned his certification in Auto Collision Repair Technology. There, he honed his craft with discipline and care, blending hands-on skill with technical training. For Anthony, it was never just about cars. It was about restoring cars through true metalworkand craftsmanship, taking pride in every detail, and

about helping people get back on the road safely and with peace of mind.

When his parents retired in 2018, Anthony stepped up to lead the family business as its second-generation owner. Taking the reins of a two-decade legacy was both a responsibility and an honor. He knew he wasn’t just inheriting a shop; he was carrying forward a name, a dream, and the trust of a loyal community.

Under Anthony’s leadership, Professional Auto Body & Paint has continued to thrive, guided by the same values it was built on: quality workmanship, personal service, and deep community roots. Every car that enters the shop is treated with care. Every customer is greeted like family. And every decision is made with the long-term well-being of the Cully neighborhood in mind.

Beyond the shop, Anthony is a proud advocate for his community. As a member of the Cully Boulevard Alliance, he works to uplift local voices and strengthen neighborhood prosperity. The shop received the District Improvement Grant, allowing him to reinvest not just in his business but in the people and place that raised him.

Nearly three decades since its founding, Professional Auto Body & Paint remains a trusted, independent, family-run shop serving Portland with honesty, skill, and heart. Anthony and his team are profoundly grateful for the customers who have supported them over the years. Every repair, every referral, and every returned smile has helped shape what the business is today.

Nancy Le

Nancy is a proud native Oregonian and graduate of Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She is also a PSU Diversity Scholar and a recipient of the prestigious Ford Family Foundation Scholarship. With a background in corporate retail specializing in buying and merchandising, Nancy has held roles at iconic Oregon-based companies including Pendleton Woolen Mills, Fred Meyer (Kroger), and Nike.
In 2018, Nancy became the second-generation owner of Professional Auto Body & Paint, a trusted family-run business in Portland that has been serving the community since 1997. Raised in her father’s mechanic shop, Nancy developed a passion for cars at a young age. Watching her father work as a master mechanic instilled in her a deep respect for the trade and a desire to one day contribute to the industry in a meaningful way.

Nancy brings both heart and strategy to the business, blending her corporate expertise with her lifelong connection to auto repair. Under her leadership, the shop has continued its tradition of integrity and exceptional service while embracing innovation through strategic upgrades and modernizations. These improvements have been supported in part by community partners such as the Cully Boulevard Alliance, Prosper Portland, and the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA). A strong advocate for her community, Nancy serves on the Cully Boulevard Alliance Steering Committee, where she champions local small businesses and promotes inclusive economic development. She has also served as a board director for the Northwest Vietnamese Student Association and continues to volunteer with the Vietnamese Community of Oregon, raising awareness of Vietnamese culture and empowering the next generation through mentorship and events. As an Asian-American woman in a traditionally male-dominated field, Nancy is proud to lead by example. She is committed to inspiring and uplifting women, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to pursue careers in the automotive industry, whether as technicians, shop owners, or entrepreneurs. Her journey is a testament to the power of resilience, community, and believing in your purpose. Today, Nancy operates Professional Auto Body & Paint as a trusted one-stop shop for auto collision repair, offering unmatched customer care, expert guidance on insurance claims, and an experience rooted in transparency and respect. For Nancy, owning a business isn’t just about fixing cars; it’s about building trust, nurturing relationships, and giving back to the community she proudly calls home. Her work is driven by both passion and purpose. She takes pride in running a small, independent, family-owned shop in the heart of Portland, one that reflects her values and stands apart from big-box, corporate-owned alternatives. At Professional Auto Body & Paint, every repair is more than a service; it’s a reflection of integrity, craftsmanship, and care. Nancy believes in shopping local, supporting mom-and-pop businesses, and reinvesting in the neighborhoods that shape us. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire others to embrace their passions, follow their own path, and know that with hard work, heart, and a strong commitment to community, anything is possible.

Anthony

From working at the family shop when it first opened in 1997 to taking over the family business in 2018. Anthony has grown with Professional Auto Body & Paint Inc. for over 28 years. He started as a shop helper and worked his way up, and he continues to provide the same dedication today. He remembers cars back then did not have backup sensors to color-matching paint systems, but he always has hands-on experience on how technology evolves the auto industry. Staying ahead on automotive technology frequently changes is Anthony’s sixth sense.

Nancy

Nancy focuses on the various facets of the shop from day to day, but her number one priority is working with each customer one on one. Providing the highest level of quality customer service and a personable experience is what Professional Auto Body & Paint Inc. lives by. A little fun fact: her father used to own an auto repair shop, so growing up in a car environment to owning a shop today was her destiny. Aside from work, Nancy is a steering committee member of Cully Blvd Alliance, where she passionately cares about the community.

As a Portland native and OSU alumni, Sean brings a hometown dedication and excellence to the team. From managing paperwork to assisting customers, Sean is committed to providing top-notch service for everyone who walks through the doors. He is excited to be part of the team and contribute to the success of the shop.

Cuong

For over 25 years in Vietnam, Cuong owned a local moped shop where he repaired mopeds from accidents, sold parts, and sold new and used mopeds. He enjoyed the art of repairing and restoring mopeds and providing quality customer service in his city. Now that Cuong moved to the United States, he is able to bring his passion and experience to Professional Auto Body and Paint.

Jadai

Jadai has always had a passion for cars since he loves to work on modifying cars during his spare time. Jadai enjoys working at the shop because of the atmosphere and being able to assist in repairing a damaged vehicle from start to finish, especially bringing the vehicle back to pre-loss condition. The best part of his job is that seeing the vehicle in the paint process with a new and fresh coat of paint is exciting every time because it’s one step closer to getting the car completed from repairs.

Meet Brownie, the real boss of Professional Auto Body & Paint! This long-bodied, short-legged quality control expert makes sure every repair meets the "sniff test" before rolling out. When he's not inspecting the shop, you’ll find him napping in the sun, charming customers, or sneakily begging for treats. Need a mood boost while your car gets fixed? Brownie's got you covered with tail wags and puppy-dog eyes. Stop by and say hi—he’s always happy to meet new friends!

We use the best of the best supply and material in the auto repair industry such as Axalta for auto refinish and 3M for auto body supplies. We do not believe in cutting costs which can result in jeopardizing quality and warranty.
