FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED SINCE 1997
PROFESSIONAL AUTO BODY & PAINT INC.
Professional Auto Body & Paint Inc. is a proud second-generation, family-owned, and women-operated auto body shop, serving Portland’s Cully Blvd. district since 1997. With over 27 years of experience in auto collision repairs, our passion is restoring your car to its pre-loss condition while delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.
We are committed to providing honest, high-quality repairs with a personal touch. Certified and accredited, we use insurance-approved equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure your car is repaired properly. Our technicians truly care about your safety and satisfaction, treating you like family and offering a level of service unmatched in the industry.
What sets us apart from big chain shops or insurance contracted shop is that our mission to lead the industry and community with quality, integrity, and technology—built on genuine relationships with our customers, employees, and vendors. Unlike shops contracted with the insurance companies, we have the ability to voice and advocate for your claim, giving us the freedom to prioritize your repair requirements, not quotas, contracts, or cutting corners.
We understand that accidents can be overwhelming and confusing, that is why we are here to help the repair process as stress-free as possible. From assisting with your insurance claim to arranging a rental car for you, we have all the details covered so you do not have to worry. If your car is not safe to drive, we will tow it to our shop. And if your car is considered a total loss, we will still help you coordinate the towing and we will work directly with your insurance to speed up your claim.
It is your car and it is your choice. By law, your insurance cannot force, steer, or pressure you into using their preferred shop.
Insurance steering is when an insurance company pressures a policyholder to get their car repaired at a specific auto body shop, often one in their network or Direct Repair Program (DRP).
Insurance companies steer policyholders to their preferred shops to increase volume (which can potentially work within a low repair budget that leads to skipping necessary procedures or using low-quality parts) vs. ensuring the best pre-loss quality repair.
Remember you choose your insurance so you have the right to choose your own shop, the benefit is that we can advocate for your claim vs. getting your claim dedicated by the insurance.
We want to be your trusted partner in getting your car back to its pre-loss condition.

WORDS OF WISDOM
We know dealing with an auto accident claim can be stressful but since we have dealt with thousands of claims since 1997. Here are some words of wisdom to help you have an easier claim experience if you ever need to file a claim in the future.
-
Get full coverage insurance - you never know if you will encounter a hit and run or the party may not carry a valid insurance. Full coverage insurance provides coverage for most scenarios, it will even pay out the current value of your car if your vehicle is stolen.
-
Ensure you have comprehensive insurance on your policy - it can cover theft, vandalism, glass and windshield damage, fire, accidents with animals, weather, or other acts of nature.
-
Ensure you have rental coverage on your policy - if the other party does not have insurance, you do not want to be carless while your car is in the shop for repairs for weeks or even months out due to part supply chain issues.
-
If you want only OEM replacement parts, some insurance companies offer an OEM parts endorsement or additional optional coverage that you may be able to purchase with your insurance policy.
