Our Stories
Anthony Lam
Anthony grew up in Portland, where his passion for cars started early. His parents opened Professional Auto Body & Paint in 1997, building the business on trust and quality. He spent his youth learning in the shop, later earning his Auto Collision Repair certification from Portland Community College. In 2018, he and Nancy took over as second-generation owners, continuing the family legacy. Today, Anthony leads with a focus on craftsmanship, customer care, and community. He also supports local initiatives through the Cully Boulevard Alliance. Nearly 30 years later, the shop remains a trusted, family-run business serving Portland.
Nancy Le
Nancy, an Oregon native and Portland State graduate, built her career with Pendleton, Fred Meyer, and Nike before returning to the family business. In 2018, she became co-owner of Professional Auto Body & Paint, founded by her father in 1997. Raised in a mechanic shop, she combines hands-on roots with strong business experience. Today, she leads with a focus on integrity, innovation, and community, working with organizations like the Cully Boulevard Alliance and Prosper Portland. Nancy is also an active community advocate, supporting local initiatives and promoting greater representation in the automotive industry. For her, the shop represents family values, quality work, and a more personal alternative to corporate repair centers.
Our Team
Sean Garland
As a Portland native and OSU alumni, Sean brings a hometown dedication and excellence to the team. From managing paperwork to assisting customers, Sean is committed to providing top-notch service for everyone who walks through the doors. He is excited to be part of the team and contribute to the success of the shop.
Cuong Nguyen
For over 25 years in Vietnam, Cuong owned a local moped shop where he repaired mopeds from accidents, sold parts, and sold new and used mopeds. He enjoyed the art of repairing and restoring mopeds and providing quality customer service in his city. Now that Cuong moved to the United States, he is able to bring his passion and experience to Professional Auto Body and Paint.
Jadai Fidencio
Jadai has always had a passion for cars, especially modifying them in his spare time. He enjoys the shop’s atmosphere and takes pride in helping repair vehicles from start to finish, bringing them back to pre-loss condition. His favorite part is seeing a car in the paint stage, knowing it is one step closer to completion.
Brownie
Meet Brownie, the true boss of Professional Auto Body & Paint. This long-bodied, short-legged quality control expert made sure every repair passed the “sniff test,” while greeting customers and brightening the shop each day.
Though he has recently passed, Brownie remains a beloved part of the team, remembered for the joy he brought to everyone who stopped by.
